Your Baby is now
2 months into gestation.
Weeks 5-8 development milestones: Brain waves begin to emerge, and the jaw starts to form, including early teeth buds and taste buds. She swallows amniotic fluid and may even hiccup. Fingers and toes continue developing, and by seven weeks, the chest and abdomen are fully formed. Floating and gently moving in the amniotic fluid, she now resembles a tiny human infant.

The Respect Life Group invited members of our parish family to “spiritually” adopt a child who were conceived in March. Not all newly conceived babies are given the chance to be born; every day, thousands of children lose their lives to abortion. It is these little ones whom you are being asked to “adopt.” Sign up was during the weekend of March 21-22, but there are still babies to "spiritually adopt". You will be asked to name the child and to pray daily for your unborn child and for all unborn children. The program began on the Feast of the Annunciation, March 25, and continues until Christmas Day (nine months). On Mother’s Day weekend, we will host a diaper drive for birthright in honor of your “adopted” child. There are millions of unborn babies in desperate need of prayer. Won’t you “spiritually adopt” one and share the love for life that god has given you?
