For the past seven years, St. Gianna’s Place has leased a former rectory from the Diocese of Manchester to carry out our ministry of caring for homeless pregnant women in crisis and their children. But now, with joyful hearts and a grateful spirit, we are thrilled to announce that we are no longer tenants, but owners, on this beautiful home! We owe a debt of gratitude to Bishop Peter Libasci who has supported St. Gianna’s Place from the day we opened our doors in 2019, the Bishop Peterson Council #4442 Knights of Columbus, who provided us with a generous donation, and to all of you, our donors and supporters, who have prayed for and provided the financial resources to make this possible. But most of all, we give thanks and praise to our good and loving God who has bestowed more blessings on St. Gianna’s Place than we could have ever imagined. Also, we are pleased to introduce our first Executive Director, Silvia Croteau. Silvia is a former volunteer and board member who possesses a wealth of experience and clear vision to lead St. Gianna’s Place into our next phase of growth.
